As an IPR/Patent Associate, you’ll play an important part in supporting patent evaluation and strategic decision-making for the company’s formulation programs. This role is ideal for freshers who have a solid academic background and a passion for innovation.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- 🔎 Conducting Freedom-to-Operate (FTO) searches to assess patent risks for formulation products.
- 📘 Patentability assessments and assisting in drafting patent inputs, office action responses, and related documentation.
- 📚 Reviewing prior art to evaluate potential risks, opportunities, and identifying gaps.
- 📊 Supporting IP-based decisions during new product selection.
- 🗂 Managing patent portfolio tasks, including docketing, annuities, and structured prior-art searches.
🎓 Eligibility & Skills
Cadila welcomes freshers (0–1 year experience) who possess:
- An M.Pharm degree in any specialisation, especially those with strong formulation, chemistry, or analytical knowledge.
- Basic understanding of IPR, regulatory science, or patent databases (internship exposure is a plus).
- Strong analytical thinking, ability to read scientific literature, and interpret complex patent claims.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
