Role Overview & Key Responsibilities 📋
The primary focus of this role is to conduct clinical data reviews, manage queries, and support the Data Management Lead in delivering quality data within timelines.
1. Data Review & Query Management 🔍
- Review clinical trial data as per the Data Management Plan (DMP)
- Identify missing, incorrect, or inconsistent data and raise queries
- Run listings and reconciliation reports to identify discrepancies
- Perform aggregate data reviews for study-wide consistency
2. System Setup & Documentation 🛠️
- Assist in developing eCRF specifications and edit check guidelines
- Create dummy/test data for database and report validation
- Maintain Electronic Trial Master File (eTMF) documentation
- Support database lock and unlock procedures
3. Team Collaboration & Compliance 🤝
- Coordinate with project teams to meet study milestones
- Ensure compliance with global SOPs and regulatory guidelines
- Prepare status reports for sponsor meetings
- Support onboarding and training of new team members
Qualifications & Experience Required 🎓
Fortrea is looking for candidates with a mix of scientific knowledge and technical expertise:
- Education: Degree in Life Sciences, Health Sciences, IT, or related field
- Experience: 3 to 5 years in Clinical Data Management
- Technical Skills: Medical terminology, CDM workflows, database testing, SAS listings (preferred)
- Language: Strong written and spoken English
- Soft Skills: Time management, organization, analytical thinking, problem solving
