About the Job 🌈
As a Claims Assessor, you will be responsible for assessing death claims across various portfolios, evaluating claims with a strong risk and fraud-detection mindset, and ensuring accurate and rightful claim payouts. You will work closely with various teams, initiate and follow through on investigations, and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
Key Responsibilities 📝
- Claims Assessment: Assess death claims across Retail, Group, and Credit Life portfolios.
- Risk and Fraud Detection: Evaluate claims with a strong risk and fraud-detection mindset.
- Documentation: Verify documents, review medical records, and ensure accurate and rightful claim payouts.
- Collaboration: Collaborate closely with Risk Teams, Branch Teams, Hospital Teams, and Partner SPOCs (Credit Life).
- Investigations: Initiate and follow through on investigations within committed TATs.
- Service Delivery: Ensure high-quality, timely, and accurate service delivery.
- Stakeholder Relationships: Maintain strong stakeholder and partner relationships.
- Process Improvement: Identify process gaps and work with business/process teams for resolution.
Eligibility Criteria 📚
- Education: B.Pharm, Graduates from any field with relevant claims experience.
- Experience: Freshers preferred / up to 3 years of experience in a life insurance company.
- Location: Candidates residing between Bandra and Mira Road.
