🔍 About the Role
As an Associate Research Analyst – IP (Rest of World Markets), you will support strategic patent decisions across multiple global regions. Your work will directly impact product launches, compliance checks, and competitive intelligence, using international patent databases and structured IP analysis.
🧠 Key Responsibilities
🌐 Patent Landscaping & Expiry Analysis
- Analyze global patent landscapes
- Identify patent trends and expiry timelines
- Support market entry and product planning decisions
📚 Prior Art, FTO & Patentability Searches
- Conduct Prior Art, Freedom to Operate (FTO), and Patentability searches
- Enable informed, compliant, and low-risk innovation strategies
⚖️ ROW Patent Legal Status & Litigation Tracking
- Monitor legal status of patents in ROW markets
- Track litigations and communicate legal risks proactively
🛡️ IP Risk Assessment for Product Launches
- Support IP risk evaluations for upcoming launches
- Contribute to brand protection and long-term market strategy
🎓 Who Can Apply?
✅ Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Pharmacy / Life Sciences
- Background in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biotechnology, Chemistry, or related fields
🏆 Skills & Competencies Required
- Strong knowledge of public patent databases (US, Europe & ROW)
- Excellent searching and analytical skills
- Ability to interpret patent documents logically
- Good understanding of IP terminology & regulatory landscape
- Strong time management and multitasking ability
- Proficiency in MS Excel
- Clear communication and reporting skills
