🧪 Role: Safety Science Specialist
As a Safety Science Specialist, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the safety of patients participating in clinical trials. This is a key position that involves scientific, analytical, and regulatory responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage Adverse Event Reports: Receive and process all adverse event (AE) reports from spontaneous sources and clinical trials.
- Safety Data Entry & Review: Enter data into AE databases, track cases, and review reports for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulatory timelines.
- Write Patient Narratives: Craft clear, accurate narratives and perform MedDRA coding for adverse events.
- Determine Listedness: Assess whether events are listed in product labels and determine appropriate reporting requirements.
🎓 Requirements
Experience
- 3–5 years in pharmacovigilance (clinical trial case processing preferred).
Education
Degree in:
- Biological Sciences
- Pharmacy
- Nursing
- Medical Sciences
- Life Sciences
- Or related fields
Skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication
