📝 About the Role
As a Drug Safety Associate, you will play a vital role in supporting the Pharmacovigilance operations at GSS Pharma. Your contribution will directly ensure the safety of patients and the compliance of client products with global regulatory standards.
🔍 Key Responsibilities
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- ICSR Processing
Reviewing, processing, and submitting Individual Case Safety Reports (ICSRs) in accordance with global PV guidelines and regulatory requirements. - Literature Screening
Conducting literature searches, assessing abstracts and full-text articles, and entering relevant safety information into the safety database. - XEVMPD Maintenance
Managing updates in the Extended Eudravigilance Medical Product Dictionary (XEVMPD), including EVWEB data, SmPCs, and Patient Information Leaflets (PILs). - Safety Signal Monitoring
Tracking safety signals, monitoring updates, and ensuring strict adherence to SOPs and regulatory standards.
📚 Requirements
To excel in this role, you’ll need:
- Education: Pharm D or M.Pharm degree
- Experience: 0–3 years in Pharmacovigilance (PV experience preferred)
- Skills:
- Strong understanding of global PV regulations
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritise
- Good organisational and analytical skills
