Syneos Health is seeking a highly skilled Senior Medical Editor – Regulatory to join its team! As a Senior Medical Editor, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring that documents meet or exceed sponsor and regulatory requirements and guidance.
🧠About the Job:
In this role, you’ll be responsible for maintaining strong familiarity with FDA, EU, and other relevant guidelines and industry standards. You’ll represent the editorial group in medical writing, on study teams, and in cross-departmental project teams as needed.
📋Key Responsibilities:
Regulatory Compliance: Maintain strong familiarity with FDA, EU, and other relevant guidelines and industry standards to ensure that documents meet or exceed sponsor and regulatory requirements and guidance.
Project Management: Monitor timelines and budgets for assigned projects and update the lead medical writer, project manager, and/or direct supervisor if deliverables are at risk.
Technical Support: Provide technical support and expertise as appropriate, and conduct training of medical editing staff and function as a mentor.
Project Lead: Serve as project lead for deliverables of assigned complex and/or large medical writing projects.
Quality Review: Perform a quality review of assigned documents to ensure accuracy.
Process Improvement: Contribute to the development of process improvement tools and the development or revision of internal policies and procedures affecting editorial work.
